THE 2002 TREK FUEL
2002 TREK FUEL Moldable carbon fiber in a sweet dual suspension format...from Mountain Bike Action.

Gears Racing 24 Hours of Summer Solstice I just finished Gears Racing 24 Hours of Summer Solstice ride as part of a 5-man team last June 24. What really took my attention was the number of solo riders who participated (22 in total including an over-50 participant) and the increasing number of female hammerheads. So, it's an opportune time to reflect on one man's adventure when it was first introduced 10 years ago with the Canaan 24-Hour Race. Remember, this was the time when riding solo for this event was still unthinkable (until John Stamstad broke the mold). Rich Katz of Dirt Rag Mag has the story -- TheLoneRider.

MTB Jargon
Ibis Bow Ti Stink-bug - this happens when a full-suspension bike rises up in the middle during heavy braking and increases your center of gravity. The US$3,950 (frame and shock) Ibis Bow Ti is notorious for this.
