The Beverly Tavern was scheduled to close on the 27th, after decades of serving drinks and providing a cozy venue to the public. It was fitting to hold the Burners' last Thursday-gathering of the year there. It was nice to see returning Burners: Laura and Elizabeth from LA and auBrey from down under. Likewise, there's always the element of seeing new faces and bonding with familiar ones. -- TheLoneRider
