Europe - Day 19 / Geneva, Switzerland
Taking it easy
The travel fatigue finally took its toll. I slept the whole day, worked on the pictures taken from France onwards and did my yoga. It felt great doing yoga again after a long absence. I seem to be taking well to this Europe thing - I'm having wine with breakfast and liking it.
Dinner with Kitty and Andy
Ginny and I met up with Kitty and her husband Andy, at Bahay Kubo, a Filipino restaurant in the Cornavin area. Kitty is lovely, bubbly and full of energy. Andy seemed to be the 'silent water runs deep' type who has been living his life in a suitcase. I had the pleasure of meeting them last year in Toronto. We all talked about music, food and the personalities in their environment. After a full meal, Ginny and I spared the bus commute and just walked back home…talking and exchanging thoughts along the way.
