Riding Mt. Maarat January 7, 2006 Saturday

Riding Mt. Maarat...again!

It was a last minute call for a bike ride...so last minute, only 4 made it - the omnipresent Robert (who is serious about building a core group for a mountain bike community), Winston (who has been riding bikes since time immemorial), Albert (the youngest) and myself. Due to lack of mtb trails (let alone decent ones), we defaulted once again to Mt. Maarat. It would have been a typical mountain bike ride if not for meeting a good number of riders. This ride had a lot of socials going for it...for the better part. We tentatively scheduled rides into their 'secret' trails and promised to touch base on forthcoming rides.
