people would probably think I got lotsa moola for lunching and dining at hotel restos. The truth is, it's the only way I can possibly get an audience with the hotel manager or owner. If I simply knock on his door cold, I'd be brushed off as a salesman. But if I order first, I'm a customer. A pricey admission with no guarantees.
