Napa Valley is undoubtedly America's most famous wine growing region. Its impressive vintages of crisp Chardonay and crimson Cabernet Sauvignon are world reknowned. While it's home to a multitude of wineries, there's more to Napa Valley than wine buying or wine tasting. For a change, a vineyard-to-vineyard bicycle tour can be arranged. Napa Valley has a 30-mile stretch of majestic landscape to offer. An alternative is to see the valley from a hot air balloon. First rate restaurants and their chefs offer an endless array of culinary indulgence. There's always something happening in Napa Valley - wine tasting parties, wine & gourmet food festivals, auctions, new releases, etc. Check them out before you head out.
