April 9, 2003 Wednesday Aggy - Partner Yoga Yoga, by its nature is solitary and centering. Partner yoga however, is different - it's as fun as it gets. The last one with Afifa was too long ago and I don't think it's going to happen again given the distance. Fortunately, Aggy was agreeable to do partner yoga with me. We picked the 10:30 time slot where the gym is virtually empty - that was a good call. I was already sweating by the 3rd pose...so was Aggy. One hour was not enough to do all 24 poses. It's a bigger workout than I anticipated...which is all-good. I hope this becomes a regular thing. Milestone's Customer Appreciation Night Free booze, free food and door prizes with good company - that's what Milestone offered tonight in appreciation of their regulars. The place is packed and everybody was smiling and happy - much like ravers high on Ecstacy in an underground party. It's all good. My surgical smile was evident once more but I couldn't go full-on - I had to pick up my kids for Issa's choir. I won some kind of potted plant, which I gave to Karen. Now that she's leaving, I feel more a camaraderie towards her. Friendship can develop once the corporate veil is lifted.
