Speeding Violation

There was only 1 guy at Discount Car Rental taking care of a long line of customers….I was running late for my 9:30 partner yoga. Apprehensive that my partner (whom I've never met yet) is left alone until I arrive, I was stepping on the gas a little heavier than usual. Along Bathurst, a cop-in-hiding showed up from the bushes and flagged me down for doing 77km/hr in a 50km/hr zone - 3 demerit points and a $131.25 fine. I feel so stupid stressing myself in a frantic drive so that I can get me relaxation.

Partner Yoga

Partner yoga introduced me to some interesting people and to a new subculture of New Age thinkers and practioners.

I was partnered with Afifa, an advanced yoga student who's also into Shaolin. She was just animated and like me, open to push boundaries. We talked about hooking up soon and pursue partner yoga on our own, without the $45 price tag.

It's an interesting fork on the trail worth pursuing…and I shall. It's been awhile since following a stray trail led me to that proverbial waterfall.

Gabby's Bday

It's Gabby's bday, youngest son of the Cuyegkengs. After stopping by Price Costco to get him a kite and a dvd (DareDevil vs. Spiderman), we proceeded to Oakville. It was good seeing the Pinedas with the relatively new faces: Ting Coronel and Jovy…with kids. My kids had a great time as usual which makes attending these occasions imperative. Touching base with my old friends keeps me anchored too, to the way of life I used to live. Going back home, we treated ourselves to a box of Krispy Crème! And get this - no line on the drive through.
