Hotel Review: Adventure Hostel Bangkok
Rating:
(5 stars out of 5) - a must-experience

Value for Money
Starting at B350 for a dorm bed, Adventure Hostel is probably not the cheapest around. But considering what you get, it's great value for the following:
- compli snacks included - cookies, coffee, tea
- CCTV cameras - for added security
- air-conditioned - rooms + dine-in place
- wifi - free and reliable inside or outside the room
- keycard access - added security
- personal locker - provide your own padlock
- internet station - a pc is provided
- open roof deck - shaded
- laundry - coin-operated laundry machine, Bht 50/load
- all female | all male | mix dorm
- fridge - cold storage for your milk, butter, etc.
- footwear off - all footwear is removed upon entering, keeping the place clean
- clean - this hostel is clean at all times
Efficient, Helpful and Friendly Staff
This is usually standard in big hotels, but at Adventure Hostel, the staff go the extra mile. When I asked them about a train alternative to my destination, they looked up the details online and got back to me with train schedule, tariff and how to get there. They showed me on the map where to get the best Baht rate for my dollar, where to buy Thai sim card, etc.
Hands-on Owner
The owners are involved in the day-to-day operation of the hostel, ensuring a tight ship. They are open to suggestions (and I had plenty!) and looking for ways to better his hotel.
BTS N7 Saphan Khwai Train Station
This is perhaps the hostel's unique selling point. The station is right in front of the hotel, giving me fast and convenient access to any point in the city. When the roads are clogged during rush hour, the trains are a time saver.
Ending Thoughts
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Next time I visit Bangkok again, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

disclosure: this hotel became a client because I wanted to make it a client. They run a good hotel business and that's the kind of hotel I'd like to introduce to my readers.
